Happy Halloween From My 3 Little Pumpkins.

Can you guess which pumpkin is which? :) Its pretty obvious, huh? When i was pregnant with jenna, i remember telling frank, that her first halloween she's going to be a pumpkin. So we turned it into our little tradition, that their first halloween all our babies would wear the same adorable pumpkin costume. It makes me want to cry seeing my babies dressed up as pumpkins. Pumpkin Carving 101

Here is Jenna getting out all the pumpkin goo, she loved it, now frankie on the other hand didnt like it, as you can see in the next pic which shows frank making him put his hand in the pumpkin, lol.

Well nathan doesn't seem to mind. He's even got his Mommy's Little Pumpkin Pajama Sleeper on(thats what his outfit says). He's in the halloween spirit, huh??

Happy Birthday Daddy!

So, Saturday was Frank's birthday. He spent his birthday morning at an IDPA match which is a gun shooting competition. So while he was away, his two little women decided to bake. We wanted to make him a homemade birthday cake, well not entirely homemade but its the thought that counts, lol. Jenna helped decorate the cake with frosting and sprinkles, which she loved. She also made him a special birthday card. So when daddy got home and opened the door, we jumped up from our hiding spots and said, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"! So to continue daddy's birthday celebration, we decided to have a movie night. We made some popcorn, found some comfy spots, and watched Hocus Pocus. It was a fun birthday for daddy and we didnt even have to do anything fancy but spend time with eachother.

Umm, Which one's the big brother??

This picture of frankie and nathan makes me laugh. The funny thing about it is that nathan is the baby, 4 month old and frankie is 16 months but they look almost the same size. LOL. It amazes me because nathan was 2 months premature and only 3 pounds but he seems to be catching up to his big brother. I must be feeding nathan too well, huh? When i went to nathan's doctor appointment she said that he was in the 97% percentile for his weight and height. In other words, if there was 100 babies in a room including nathan, only 3 babies would be bigger than him. So he wont be the bullied baby at the playground because he could beat them all up, lol. But the doctor assured me, that he's healthy and thriving very well. She also said he could easily weigh just as much as frankie by the time he is a year old. Maybe I will be even able to pass them off as twins, except the fact they look nothing alike. Oh well, lol.

Now, If I can only get him to actually change his diaper!

Here is a cute video of frankie throwing out his own diaper. He actually gets upset if you dont let him throw out his and nathan's diapers. It's so cute and he insists on doing everything all by himself. What a big boy, huh? He has some sort of obsession with the garbage and I always have to tell him to stay out of it. Maybe he will grow up to be a garbage man or something. :) Just maybe that's why he loves to throw out stinky diapers because that's the only time i let him get near the trash can. Oh BOYS BOYS BOYS!! But hey, i ate spaghetti out of the trash can when i was about his age, so i shouldn't be talking. But SHHH, dont tell anyone about that! LOL. ENJOY!

I just had to share this picture of my cute little man nathan, letting out a good ole belly laugh. Daddy got him to let out this little shriek which turned into an all out giggle. It was adorable and I caught it in this picture. I simply love catching these sweet moments~ Enjoy! :)

Oh, The joy of being a mother to boys!

When i first found out i was having a boy. Everyone would say to me, Oh boys are so different than girls. Boys get into everything, can't sit still for a second, constantly on the go, and they need tons of attention. Well let me tell you something, THEY WERE RIGHT!!!!!!! The only two words in my vocabulary at the current time is NO FRANKIE! He is always touching something he shouldn't be or climbing on some piece of furniture. The other day, he was climbing the vacuum, don't ask me how. lol. Jenna would not even think about climbing anything, anywhere. She likes to sit down, read books and do projects. Even when she was his age. It's just so funny how different it is to be a mother to boys. Dont get me wrong, I love every single minute of it. It will only be more fun when nathan gets bigger and I'm chasing around both my little guys, lol. Hopefully my sweet, helper Jenna will help me tame these wild boys, that includes daddy. :) I could just see the future, Frank(daddy), Frankie, and Nathan all wrestling on the floor while im yelling at them to knock it off. Oh, JOY! But you know what, at the end of the day, I wouldn't have it any other way.


Oh and also, that picture of frankie goes perfect with my "boy" blog, doesn't it?? But just so you all know, he's not actually picking his nose, lol. When you ask him where his nose is, for some reason he thinks he needs to stick his finger up his nostril to show us where it's at. I think he does it mostly because we laugh our butts off when he does it. He's such a silly little guy, isn't he?? ENJOY!

My sweet baby Nathan

I HAD to share these exceptionally cute pictures of my handsome little man, nathan. To see his cute little smile and hear his sweet giggle, it just makes my day. I look at him now and i remember not too far back when he was in the NICU and so tiny. He is so strong, big, and healthy, so much that you would not even believe he was only 3 pounds 15 ounces when he was born. Im so proud of my family and especially of this little guy because he has been through so much in his short life already. Those long two weeks that nathan was in the NICU was one of the hardest things ive been through. So when i see these pictures of that big, chubby baby smile, it just melts my heart. I am so blessed by him, jenna, and frankie. Oh and my hubby, of course ;)~ I am one lucky lady, huh? Also, frank says that nathan looks like a chubby sailor in this outfit? lol, what do you think??

Tooth Fairy already????

I cant believe my first born baby girl lost her first tooth last night. Wow, I am starting to feel old. For the past two weeks, she's been wiggling her tooth, just waiting for it to come out. She's so excited about the tooth fairy bringing her a suprise. I remember being a little kid, waking up the next morning so happy to look under that pillow. Since it was her first tooth, the tooth fairy brought her a dvd called oliver and company. Oh to be a kid again, life is so simple and fun. This is such a big milestone in jenna's life which makes me realize how big she's getting, and it honestly makes me sad. I remember her first tooth coming up through her gums when she was a little bitty baby about 6 months old and now look. But hey they got to grow up at some point, right? Before I know it she's going to be 13 years old, not believe in the tooth fairy, and think im a loser, lol. But until then, Im going to enjoy how magical and sweet it is to see my little girl so excited about her loose teeth. And no, she wont be getting a dvd each time she loses a tooth, we would go broke, lol. Next time it will be a dollar for her piggy bank. :)

An afternoon in the life of Nicole

Well towards the afternoon everyone in the house is starting to get antsy. I am looking at the clock wondering when my hubby is going to get home. Frankie is jumping off the walls because he has gotten into everything he possibly can in the house and is now bored, lol. So every afternoon, I decide to bring all the kids outside before i go entirely crazy~ :) We play with sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and go for walks. Jenna and frankie are constantly fighting over this bubble wand. Frankie insists on eating the bubbles which he knows taste disgusting(thats a boy for ya)! And Sweet baby nathan is just sleeping away in his sling, that he loves. I love these nice cool days where we can go outside and just enjoy the weather without sweating our little butts off. So here is a little look on what goes on here at the jakubowski residence!

Air Show!

Well today its a rainy and gloomy day. There is nothing too intresting to write about, so instead im going to write about the fun air show we went to yesterday. Frank had to kind of talk me into going because it was so cold and cloudy, but i knew that it would be fun for the kids, and especially my hubby. So i got my lazy butt dressed and my makeup on, and we were off to the air show. Jenna was so excited to get into all the helicopters and air craft, i think she could of played in them all day. Frankie loved it too, he was trying to actually climb in them. When the air show started frankie just pointed at every little thing in the sky, it was so cute. We layed out our blanket, ate some hot dogs, and laughed at how silly frankie was being. Nathan slept the whole time, all warm and cozy in his baby carrier. I stepped back and looked at my family and thought, WOW~ Im so happy i came and enjoyed this wonderful day with them. :)

Fall Traditions! :)

For the second year we went to this cute little pumpkin patch at this charming little church close to our house. Seeing nathan sitting in his little baby carrier reminded me of frankie when we went to the pumpkin patch last year. It was so much fun. We picked a pumpkin for each person of the family, nathan got the smallest and it went up in sizes from there. Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday and I love fall. I cant wait to see my sweet little jenna as a bride, my silly frankie as a monkey, and my precious nathan as a pumpkin. :)

ZOO~!

Frank had no work today (ITS A MIRACLE) :) So we decided to take a trip to the zoo. Im feeling a little bad though because Jenna was in school and she loves the zoo but we will be taking her next weekend. Its quite exciting, Frankie got to feed the giraffes, well actually he was terrified of them and daddy feed the giraffes instead. We had alot of fun doing that, I could not believe how close they come to you. Frankie was just walking around like he was such a big boy. Enjoying the animals and the beautiful day. Its days like this, where i hope they remember these special memories forever.

So, Its really weird. Everytime Frank(daddy) meows, Nathan cries and bawls his eyes out. Frankie did the same thing when he was a baby. Is this a boy thing or something?? I will find the pics of frankie also. But for now, here is nathan after daddy meows~!
