CHRISTMAS at the Jakubowski's

So i have quite a lot of pictures from Christmas. We had such a great morning. We began by all coming downstairs except Nathan, he was still sleeping. We first came to the treats that we put out for Santa and HE ATE THEM! Jenna was amazed by that, its so cute. Then she ran to the tree and saw all the presents under there and excited wouldn't even be the word to describe how she was, lol. So we opened gifts and stockings. After that was all done, i cooked some french toast for breakfast. After breakfast we opened the elefun game but Frankie was scared of it for some reason. It was such a nice, relaxing morning and it just flew by. Before we knew it the afternoon was here and we were playing with toys all morning. But i guess that's the whole point of Christmas morning, to just spend time together as a family and enjoy the toys Santa brought. I sit back and look at my babies and see them growing up so fast right in front of my eyes and its memories like this that forever will be imprinted into my memory. There is nothing like seeing their sweet, smiling faces tearing open those gifts with such excitement. I'm just so proud and thankful for my kids, im the proudest mama there is. So on that note, here are the pics...

P.S. I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful gifts, we very much appreciate everything we received. We feel blessed by all our family and friends.

Making Treats for Santa!

So, as we all know, Santa is coming to drop off some gifts tomorrow night. We had to make him something to eat, keep his energy up after delivering all those presents. :) Instead of making cookies like everyone else does, we decided to make and decorate some rice crispy treats instead. As you can see in the video, Frankie loved decorating them with sprinkles and Jenna loved eating them. We had tons of fun, enjoy the video and the pictures. Oh and little Nathan tried to steal a whole tray of treats, you will see. I hope everyone has a merry Christmas and enjoys time with their family.

Lights at the ZOO!!! It was COLD!

There is so many things to do around here at Christmas time. So we decided to go to the lights at the zoo. Its where they decorate everything at the zoo with Christmas lights and there is other activities, its fun. So i got some pics, well actually a lot of pics, so I'll explain them as i go....... let's begin...

^ So here is daddy and Frankie, look at that cheesy boy smile, lol. And for some reason that husband of mine always has his eyes closed in pictures.

^ There was these big giant Christmas cards and this one was particularly funny because of the monkey, haha. I laughed my butt off after i took this picture.

^Jenna petting a horse,donkey,or pony don't know which, lol.

^ well this is just cute, huh??

^ So Jenna and I roasted marshmallows. Frankie absolutely loved eating them. I have to say this had to be Jenna's favorite part of the night.

^ That snowman in the background was Frankie's worst enemy, he hated him and didn't want to take a picture anywhere near him, lol.

^ Look at those handsome men, we just need my third handsome little man(nathan) in the picture but he was knocked out in the stroller.

^ Jenna and a tiger.

^ We are leaving now, we had so much fun!!! :)

Christmas Crafts

Sorry I haven't wrote in a while, i got like SO sick, i ended up in the hospital. Then everyone in the house got sick with the same stomach bug, it was terrible. I never want to go through that again. But off to better topics, Jenna stayed home from school because she was still recovering from that miserable stomach thing and we decided it would be a perfect day to make ornaments for the Christmas tree. Thanks grandma for the supplies to make them, it gave us something fun to do when we were all feeling icky. Frankie really didn't do too much with creating his ornament but he just loved being apart of the craft and hanging out with Jenna and I. He just put the caps on and off the paints and pretended like he was using them, it was adorable. Jenna had so much fun making them, i think this was her favorite Christmas activity we have done so far. We are just making family memories together, its perfect. It was so cute, we just stayed in pajama's all day and relaxed. So here are the pics......

Jenna's Christmas Program.

Jenna's Christmas program was last night and unfortunately i was sicker than a dog, so i couldn't make it. But she was so excited to sing and go to this. I was so sad that i wasn't able to see it. But frank took some pics and he told me that she was like the only kid that hit every move and sang her little heart out. She is so into the whole singing thing. Maybe i will sign her up for a choir or something like that. Frank told me that it was so packed and it was hard to get pictures but he tried, lol. So enjoy...

Our Very First Gingerbread House EVER!!

To begin, today didn't go at all how i planned. I woke up this morning still sick as can be. I barely got any sleep because i was coughing like an old lady that has smoked and drank booze her whole life. Soo, Frankie was acting funny, he is also pretty sick. I'm holding and cuddling with him, all of the sudden he puked curdled milk all over me, it smelled so terrible. So i ran upstairs gave him a bath while frank was scrubbing the carpet, which let me add still smells like gross milk. So after all that frank took Frankie to the emergency room and he was there for 3 HOURS!!! Everything that could go wrong did, he has a bad ear infection and cough. OHHHHHH what a day this has been already and its only 1:30pm. I still have most of the day to go. So anyways i planned on taking Jenna to the children's theatre to watch frosty the snowman play but that could not happen. So instead i decided to do a gingerbread house with her today. It was a rough day but i still wanted to do something fun. Let me also add that my gingerbread house wasn't the best in the world because the roof collapsed on me twice and i had to glue that back together with frosting, of course, and the chimney feel off like 6 times lol. I guess you can say a house builder wont be in my near, career future. But all that matters is that Jenna and i had fun decorating it and maybe it will be a tradition from now on, we will see. Now I'm off to cutting Jenna's bangs and hair because she has a school Christmas program on Wednesday where she will be singing. Well, i hope you all had a better weekend then i did and here are some pictures. :)

^The beginning stages of our creation

^Starting the decorating. Her favorite part.

^ More decorating

^ Jenna dont eat the whole gingerbread house!!!

^ Oh No, Daddy snuck up on us and ate our chimney!!! Hope he didnt inhale too much smoke. HAHAHA, ok not funny. :)

OOOOOOO CHRISTMAS TREE!!!

Jenna asked me abut 1,300 times when we will be decorating the Christmas tree, so finally we did it. This was the first year where it seems like she completely understands Christmas and the little traditions we have, so i could just see the excitement in her face, it makes me sooo happy. Now Mr. Frankie on the other hand, he just wanted to tear down each and every ornament he can get his little toddler fingers on. I'm telling you, if i turn my back for 1.2 seconds, he already has two ornaments off the tree. He's like a sneaky little baby ninja, he tip toes over there all quietly and he knows damn well he shouldn't be touching it, but he does. Oh Oh BOYS BOYS BOYS!! So as long as that tree is up in this house, the only words i will be repeating over and over is "FRANKIE, NO NO, DON'T TOUCH THE TREE"!! I think i might end up in a padded room somewhere, huddled in a corner, rocking back and forth, repeating those exact words. LOL. SOOOO, of course i have some pictures to share, ENJOY!!!!

Nutcracker the Ballet

For a long time, I have been saying to myself that I need to do more mother/daughter things with jenna. It seems like the past couple years have been so busy, i guess it might be the whole getting pregnant back to back thing, lol. Well, my friend's son is in the choir for the nutcracker and she asked me if i would like two free tickets to see the show and BOOM, i thought that would be a perfect opportunity for jenna and I. I can't even begin to tell you how excited jenna was to see this, she was the happiest little girl sitting in that auditorium waiting for that curtain to rise. It almost made me want to cry because it was so heartwarming to do something with her that i know she will remember forever. It also made me realize what a big girl she is becoming and that these are the memories with her that i really want to hold on to. She loved every second of the ballet, a little bit towards the end she started to get slightly antsy but so was I because it was a ballet and didn't have any dialogue, just dancing and music. But overall, we both had an absolute excellent time. So when intermission came, we got up and went to the lobby, i had her pick out a nutcracker ornament to hang on the tree. So every year when she hangs that ornament on the Christmas tree, she will remember that special day we had together. We are definitely going to have more of these mother/daughter days together and I'm looking forward to a lifetime of them. So here are some pictures, we couldnt take them during the actual performance but these are from before and after, ENJOY!

^ this is how close we were to the stage.
