Valentine's Day 2011

This Valentine's day was a lot different because my hubby is not here. So seeing all the lovey dovey commercials, hearts, red, pink, and couples made me want to puke, lol. I'm just mad my love isn't here with me :) But then i remembered that valentine's day is also about loving your kids and letting them know that. So i put together a little surprise for them. Jenna got a princess paint kit, princess chocolates, and her sweet daddy sent her a box full of cookies with a special note just for her on it...

Isn't that so cute, she was so excited about the special gift from her daddy. Frankie got some spiderman chocolates and a toy story puzzle...


Nathan also got some spiderman chocolates and some toy story spin tops which were broken within an hour, NO JOKE!! But Nathan wouldn't let me take pictures of him because he just got back from a long visit at the doctor which left him cranky and not in the mood for feeling the love. But i did snap one...

As you can see he was not feeling good, he has croup and an ear infection, so he is quite unhappy with life right now. Then it starts to get dark outside and my doorbell rings...hmmmm....who could that be my neighbor? UPS guy?? NOPE!!! It was a flower delivery guy with a beautiful bouquet of flowers from my wonderfully, handsome husband. My heart melted at that very moment and tears came to my eyes. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world and even being thousands of miles away my husband knows just how to make me feel special. This has been such a rough week with the boys being sick and keeping me up all night but that all melted away with these flowers. Thank you honey, I love you and stay safe.
